Lesson learnt

If there is one thing I have learnt from my demon boss, it would be the ability to plan. Let me elaborate further on this point.

"Plan properly. Plan properly. Plan properly. Plan properly. Plan properly. Plan properly."

Honestly, my boss actually drilled that into me repetitively during a discussion. I felt miserable whenever I am handling a job for him. But as bitter as I am on the treatment he has given me all this while, I did try to look things from another POV... and I have to agree with him entirely on this.

Planning is vital. The word itself sounds easy. I mean, it is easy to say that you've planned everything, but have you done it in a proper way? One ultimate way to judge your competence in planning is to re-evaluate after closure/post-execution. How many of you can say that everything that you've done have gone 100% according to plan without improvisation? Anyway, this is just something we should think about. I am too lazy now to go on so I will stop it short.

Anyone can plan, but to master it is an entirely different ball game.
